November, December 2010 & January 2011 - News
- Louise Barnett has joined PNPR and we're delighted to welcome her. Louise was formerly head of PR at Safeway plc and brings a wealth of experience to the agency.
- She is also account director on the LifeStyle Show at Sandown Park as Trudi Beggs is taking maternity leave. We all wish Trudi and her new-born wonderful luck and good health.
- Trudi's parting shot was an article on the Show in Premier GU/KT lifestyle magazine.
- We secured coverage for Mark Mathews and the Reve Pavilion in a lengthy news feature on SADS in the Surrey Advertiser and also quotes in both the Daily Mail & Mirror.
- We continued our Twitter campaign for Loseley Park alerting followers to the forthcoming Festive Family Days for the three weekends preceding Christmas.
- We also secured an interview for owner Michael More-Molyneux on the BBC. This was on Radio Surrey.
- We achieved a prominent picture story in Surrey Business News of Jamie's Italian doing a master class in Guildford at Kings College.
- The school also featured the event on the cover of its magazine, read by over 1,000 parents, teachers and pupils.
- We continue to work with the 9 Seymours offices in West Surrey, writing half page market reports and tips for the Woking Group in the Woking News & Mail, and weekly quotes for the Guildford Group of estate agents - for the Surrey Advertiser.
- The region's leading paper also carried an article by our client, Setfords Solicitors, about the new Equality Act.
- On the events side we continued with Genesis Publications helping them prepare for the opening of their new Gallery and Reading Rooms. We advised on invitations to the business and local and Surrey Council executives plus key players from the media.
- We are also helping Grillo Chartered Surveyors with their publicity campaign in local Parish and village magazines in Surrey and West Sussex, placing tips articles on property maintenance and cost-savings.
- December saw 600 people attend the first Family Festive Day at Loseley Park partly, we hope, as a result of articles in The Guildford Magazine, Surrey Life Magazine, the Surrey Advertiser and our Twitter campaign.
- We helped Jamie's Italian organise a special supper at the restaurant for the Master Class winner Emily Kinsella from Kings College in Guildford.
- This duly appeared on the BBC Surrey Facebook page along with her fellow winner Ramatu Ibrahim.
- We were also engaged on two events in Guildford - the Genesis Gallery launch attended by some 50 people who braved an artic night - and a special joint evening put on between our client Absolute Aesthetics and L.K.Bennett, the retailer in Guildford High Street.
- The Surrey Advertiser subsequently ran nearly a full page article on Genesis Publications with 10 photos.
- We also secured an interview on BBC Surrey with co-owners, Nick and Cathy Roylance.
- We spent many hours working on the entry with our client The Whiteley Clinic for the local Toast of Surrey Awards, and were delighted with the two nominations which followed.
- Congratulations to Mark on being short-listed as Business Personality of the Year and also best business in the under £5m turnover category.
- January 2011 has been very busy at the agency as we welcome two top PR associates who have moved to Surrey from London.
- Claire Wylie was the PR manager for the London Museum and has also worked on accounts including ASDA and Nescafe.
- Katy Taylor comes from a public service background where she has worked at the top level in the Cabinet Office.
- Claire has immediately started on a new account which she and Paul Nathanson went for and won in a three way pitch. The client is Nude Designs, leading light, automation and interior design experts, based in Dorking.
- Claire and Katy are stepping in for Sally Gilroy and Mary Brown. Sally has a full time job and Mary is cutting back on work commitments to concentrate on her family. All the very best and thanks to both!
- Surrey Chambers published an article on the LifeStyle show in their online Weekly Update newsletter.
- We secured a picture and profile of Vicki Smith of Absolute Aesthetics in The Guildford Magazine.
- Delighted to sign a new project with Mark Whiteley Clinic - making it our third piece of work in 12 months.
- Equally, we are very happy to be extending our current contract with the natural health clinic, The Reve Pavilion.
- We fixed a BBC radio interview with Mark Whiteley.
- ... and an Eagle Radio spot for Emma Patel, Family Law expert at our client, Setfords Solicitors.
- This followed two articles we placed featuring her on the trend for Facebook Divorce which appeared in The Times.
- These spawned a remarkable 45 hits on websites across the world in the USA, Australia, India, Maylasia and Germany.
- A follow-up in the Dorking Advertiser triggered further coverage on the trend, first identified by Emma, on the websites of The Daily Telegraph, Daily Mail, Sun and Daily Express.
- Emma Patel's name is now well and truly on the map as is Setford Solicitors, our client's!
