- PNPR Fuse – our day’s training in DIY PR to help businesses do their own PR in the recession – was commissioned by one of Surrey’s leading project management companies in the construction industry – Woodley Lucas. We spent the day at the WL offices, covering many aspects of PR, including writing press releases, pitching ideas to journalists and doing face-to-face interviews.
- The Heat Basketball team, Guildford – we secured the front cover story in the Surrey Advertiser’s weekend section, What’s On, and a story inside.
- The Heat – we arranged for Kate Lester, head of sponsorship, to do two national interviews (Business XL and Daily Telegraph) relating to the Heat Business Club.
- The Skin & Laser Clinic – we secured an article in the quality lifestyle magazine, GU/KT Premier, about iLipo as well as an iLipo offer in Your Surrey Wedding (online and in the publication).
- SDS, software specialists in the housing industry – we continue to help write the monthly column in the trade magazine, Showhouse, and also drafted an article for 24Housing.
- The Walton Business Group in Surrey invited Paul Nathanson to address 40 members on media relations and media crisis management. “It was a great honour to be invited and I hope everyone got something from the session, which was very inter-active,” says Paul, who spent 20 years writing for national papers.
- Audace – we secured a page on Woking Chamber’s website about the company’s IT Guide (Making IT Work). We also drafted copy for the next chocolate bar mailer (Are you an IT Smartie?) to be issued in December, following the earlier Boost bar promotion.
- Diamond Logistics – we set up an interview for MD Kate Lester on Surrey and North Hampshire’s commercial station, Eagle Radio, to discuss the postal strike.
- SDS – the software specialists in the housing industry – we continued to help write and place the monthly column in the trade magazine, Showhouse, and we drafted an article for the magazine, 24Housing.
- Seymours Estate Agents, Guildford – we helped draft two sets of quotes, which duly appeared in features in the Surrey Advertiser’s property supplement.
- Grillo LLP, chartered surveyors – we helped place two quotes in the Surrey Advertiser’s lead features in their property supplement, and also a quarter page news feature on business rates in the Business Matters section of the West Sussex County Times.
- As ever, PNPR was very active attending local business events, namely: the IoD breakfast in Guildford; the Farnborough Business Network and Woking Chamber of Commerce lunches; the Peal Networking Club in Haslemere; the Godalming Business Network and the weekly BEST breakfast in Guildford.
