May 2011 - News
- PNPR is very happy to announce a new client the Woking-based law firm, Mackrell Turner Garrett
- The assignment is very much after our own heart, a programme involving schools' students nominating charities and pitching to MTG, who are managing a very generous fund set up by a local philanphropist
- This combines community action, creativity and education, as does our green programme with Loseley Park where we have set up the children's gardening projects - the Tallest Sunflower Competition and this year's Giant Pumpkin quest
- We are progressing dynamically with Freetricity plc and their solar panel business. Broadcast features and news went out on BBC Surrey and Sussex, as well as Eagle FM, the Guildford-based commercial station for Surrey and North East Hampshire
- We also secured a large news feature with photo in the Surrey Advertiser, showing Secret Millionaires Ben Way and Paul Williams, the directors
- In the same Business News Extra supplement the Advertiser featured a large news advice piece by PNPR director Paul Nathanson on how parties can be good strategic marketing tools and PR
- After three months of preparation we were happy to help host the Media Day at Loseley Park to show selected journalists from local, regional and national media the Walled Garden, followed by lunch at the new Wisteria Restaurant
- 15 journalists from BBC Gardeners' World magazine to the RHS Garden magazine and BBC Surrey attended. Also blogger Lisa Cox who is now writing a monthly blog on her own blog and for Surrey Life about Loseley Garden through the seasons.
- Lisa takes excellent photos, and we were also honoured to have national garden expert and treasure, John Negus, who subsequently reported on the BBC Surrey/Sussex gardening programme, Dig It, eulogising for 5 minutes on the hidden treasures at Loseley
- Delighted that Nude Designs are to feature in Metro newspaper and Grand Designs magazine
- We also helped launch Nude's new showroom in Dorking and arranged for a photographer from the Surrey Advertiser to attend
- We continue to write weekly blogs for Seymours Estate Agents with market reports. These appear on the Advertiser's award-winning website, getsurrey.co.uk with more than 156,000 unique users per month
- Likewise, we are writing a weekly blog with Loseley's head gardener, Burney, for getsurrey
- For both Seymours and Loseley we send out tweets - to 200+ followers for the former and 500+ for the latter, whose Twitter account we manage
- Lastly, we were very happy to support the Woking Asian Business Forum's excellent dinner in Woking with more than 100 attending.
