NEWS - JULY 2008

Sasha Nathanson continued her work with Baker Tilly on internal comms regarding the new corporate responsibility policy. This entailed planning for National Bike Week and also writing the Walk The Talk Newsletter.

Sasha also completed work for Convention Travel, our business and incentive travel client, on a Green Page. Designed for CT’s website, this outlined possible alternatives to air travel and also focussed on hotels making efforts to be as sustainable as possible.

Kate McCarthy continued her work with social housing software specialists, SDS in Cranleigh, securing coverage in Inside Housing, SQM and housingnews.co.uk

Kate also wrote regular quotes for Seymours Estate agents in Guildford and helped with the SQM column by Seymours senior partner in Guildford.

Vanessa Green was busy securing acceptance for articles about our Claygate client, the  silk flower specialist RTfact, in Cream of Surrey, the Surrey Advertiser and Surrey Director.

Vanessa helped host the Award Ceremony of the Surrey Office Stars competition at Guildford’s famous Yvonne Arnaud Theatre. SOS is her brainchild for courier client, Diamond Logistics. Major coverage followed in the Surrey Advertiser.

Vanessa also placed a two page feature in upmarket magazine, GU Premier, on our Woking client, The Skin and Laser Clinic.

We were delighted also to launch the inaugural PNPR Business Media Lunch which Vanessa and Paul Nathanson, founder of PNPR, hosted. This is a new idea to add value for our clients by introducing them to each other for possible business and exchange of ideas. It is also designed to build bridges and relationships with the BBC and we were very happy to have Fred Marden presenter of The Fred Marden Show on BBC Radio (Southern Counties) and one of his top reporters, Paul Jenner.

Paul also secured coverage in the Surrey Advertiser, The Guildford Magazine, Surrey Chambers of Commerce website and BBC radio for sanofi-aventis regarding their Wrong Trousers Day event in Guildford. This involved 200 staff at sanofi dressing up as musicians (including two Elvises and an Amy Winehouse) to raise funds for the Wallace & Gromit’s Children’s Foundation.
