Genesis Publications

Project
To help Genesis Publications sell their very expensive limited editions (£195 - £495) on rock icons and raise their profile nationally and internationally. Worked on publicity, competition promotions, the originating of a major retrospective exhibition in London. I also set up and drove through The Genesis Photo Awards with the Liverpool Community College, Daily Post and Liverpool Football Club Former Players Association.

Results
Two of the 12 books which PNPR publicized, sold out within months. I secured two cover stories in The Sunday Times Magazine plus a third full feature; a cover story in the Times Magazine; a front page story in the culture section of The New York Times; cover stories in Mojo and Classic Rock. Other media to cover my books included: the Financial Times; FT magazine; The Times, The Guardian; The Daily Telegraph; Daily Express; The Observer, the Press Association; Metro; GQ, The Conran Magazine, Q; BBC TV; ITN, Sky News, The Jonnie Walker and Steve Wright Shows (BBC Radio 2); Front Row on Radio 4; the Simon Mayo Show, Radio 5 Live, Virgin Radio.

International coverage included: RAI (Italy) and Arte TV channel (France and Germany) la Repubblica and Corriere della Sera (Italy); Playboy, Promenade, LA Times, Blender and the Beatle Years Radio show syndicated to 150 stations nationwide (USA); Allgemeine Frankfurter Zeitung, Elle, GQ Germany and Stern magazines (Germany); Vogue Espanol; Elle, Marie Claire, Elle Greece, de Standaard (Belgium); Asahi Shimbun (Japan), Nice Matin (France), O Globo (Brazil) and de Volkskrant (Holland). Webs featuring the books included: GQ.com; Vogue.com, lfc.tv, BBCi, Daily Mail, Evening Standard. Articles also appeared in Record Collector, New Musical Express and Saab Business World Magazine. PNPR also arranged coverage on Cathay Pacific and South Africa Airlines in-flight television.
